Norm's Donuts

She never made these when I was around; per mom Boo and her friend who lived behind the D&H store on West Blvd. use to get together and make donuts all day.

What you'll need:

1 cup sugar

1 cup mashed potatos

2 eggs

Pinch of Salt

3T of melted lard

1 cup of sweet milk

3 cups of flour

2t baking power

1/2t of vanilla

Pinch of mix

Mix dry ingredients together; add wet ones. Same recipe can be used for a cake. Cook or bake donuts as desired.
